We’re extremely excited to announce the opening of our Beijing office, in response to growing demand from Chinese investors interested in buying properties in the UK. We’ve enjoyed very close business relationships with Chinese property investors over the past few years and the opening of our Beijing office is a natural next step in our commitment to strengthen our relationships.
“The opening of our Beijing office is testament to our strategy to provide our Chinese customers with world-class real estate services. Our Beijing office will complement our China Desk platform in London, and our local presence in Beijing will allow us to be well positioned to assist our clients based in China. The property sector is changing rapidly and we believe that our expertise will allow us to help our clients capitalise on the numerous property opportunities that are available to them in the UK”, said Stan Tonchev, our Associate Director.
The opening coincides with the Goodman’s Fields launch event in Beijing in partnership with Berkeley Group and HSBC. The event was a great opportunity for Chinese investors to learn more about the property prospects that are available to them in this new luxurious development located in London. During the event, Reese Ye, Head of China Desk at Kingsley Hamilton Estates and Yinuo Sun, Sales Consultant at Berkeley Group discussed the need to maintain good relationships with Chinese buyers interested in UK properties.
Beijing is amongst the most developed cities in China and Chinese investors have shown an increasing appetite for luxury homes in the UK in recent years. Luxury properties combined with the high level of education in the UK is attracting Chinese investors, making property investments in the UK second to none. Some of the most reputable Chinese developers including Greenland and Wanda have entered London’s property market, signalling their confidence in the UK property market. And with the strengthening of the northern powerhouse economy, many Chinese investors are also directing their capital out of London, to the northern cities.
Reese Ye, Head of China Desk at Kingsley Hamilton Estates commented: “despite the political uncertainty in the UK and the restrictions announced earlier in August by the Chinese government, Chinese investors are eager to continue snapping up commercial and residential properties throughout the UK which remains a favoured destination for Chinese investors!”
