September Events In London The Whole Family Will Enjoy

As September approaches and minds wander towards a new school term, one thing
cannot be denied, summer is nearly over. Whether you enjoyed a staycation in the
capital or jetted abroad, make the most of the last few lighter days.

With plenty of events in London that will please not just the kids, but the whole family,
here we explore some of the best to attend in September.

Family Campfire Club – 7 th September
Take the kids away from the likes of tablet and mobile screens and head to the
enchanted green spaces at the Nest Collective’s Family Campfire Club. Sitting around the
campfire, expect singalongs to international music, delicious food and drink, and
endless nature activities.

Spectacular Family Concert – 7 th September
This is perfect if you have children who stay up a little later and enjoy cultural
experiences. There will be Saint Saens Carnaval of the Animals, alongside watching
animal films on the big screen. Plus, see Fantasia as a live orchestra. It’s sure to be
exactly what it says on the tin: spectacular!

The Gruffalo – until 8 th September
Who doesn’t love the Gruffalo picture books? Now there’s the chance to see the popular
character live in action at the Lyric Theatre. With songs to sing along to, plenty of jokes
to laugh out loud at, and an intriguing story to enjoy, it promises to be something that
will engage both children and adults.

Great Fire of London family walk – until 22 nd September
This interactive family walk allows you to journey through history exploring the 1666
event. Discover how the fire was started, spread and stopped. After the 45-minute
adventure, why not have yourselves a mini family challenge, and see who has the best
knowledge of the famous fire?

ZSL London Zoo
You can’t beat a trip to the zoo. And there’s nothing better than seeing penguins fly
underwater. The biggest penguin pool in England, ZSL’s London Zoo’s penguin beach, is
simply unmissable! Or venture to the Land of the Lions. This isn’t just any lion
exhibition – there’s an interactive element where you can tend to a ‘lion-emergency’.

The zoo itself is in Regent’s Park, which isn’t too far from Mayfair – one of London’s
most attractive places to live. Maybe you’re looking to buy here, or sell, or perhaps even
rent a property out – either way, Kingsley Hamilton Estates would be thrilled to lend a
helping hand. Whichever part of London you are considering letting, selling or buying
in, we can take all the administrative responsibilities off your plate.
